Q - What is maintenance or tune-up on an A/C system?
A - You can compare what we do on your A/C system to an
oil change on your car. We clean the coils and filters. We check the entire system
out from the thermostat to the ductwork. This does not guarantee you will not have
problems with your system. It does guarantee that the system will last longer and
be more energy efficient, which saves you money. A leading university study reported
that one cooling season in the Southeastern U.S. is the same as driving your car
39,000 miles. Most people would not drive their car that far without tuning it up
or changing the oil.
Q - Do I have to pay someone to look at my unit or system?
A - Yes and no. If you want the system repaired there is
a diagnostic fee. If you want to look at replacing the equipment, there is no charge
for the consultant to come and give you your options.
